Clapton cuts concert short

Sound problems during his Saturday (6/21) concert at the Hydro in Glasgow left fans feeling hosed when an obviously irritated Eric Clapton abruptly left the stage after cutting-short Cocaine. Eric was a few notes into High Time We Went when he stepped to the mic and said, 'Sorry about that' before turning and walking off the stage. Band members followed suit.  Many of the 12,000 startled fans voiced their disappointment and anger before exiting the venue and then took their complaints to Clapton's Facebook page.  A post to Clapton's web site later read, 'Unfortunately we experienced a steadily worsening technical problem with the PA system that the band battled with throughout the show.  By the last song of the set it became unbearable and Eric was unable to complete that number.'
