Dubliners take to streets over
noise after concert
Open air concerts always generate complaints about the
decibel levels generated by massive sound systems. That's not
what got dozens of residents in neighborhoods surrounding the stadium
U2 played in Dublin irate enough to take to the streets.
Their outrage was over the time it took and the amount of noise
associated with assembling and dismantling the massive stage

and video screen the band is
using on the 360° Tour.
Their protests disrupted the load-out enough to cause a number of the
trucks required to transport the staging to it's next assigned tour
stop in Stockholm to miss a ferry. Tour manager Jake Berry said
the disruption, which involved fewer than 100 people, caused problems
for the tour because it runs on a very tight schedule.
