Bill Kreutzmann on stage with Phish at Red Rocks
Sometimes things just wind up In sych - like when a drummer with a
band that defined the genre happens to be in the neighborhood when a
band that carries on the tradition is playing. It happened
Monday night (8/3) when
Phish did the last of a 4 night stand at Red Rocks and
Dead drummer Bill Kreutzmann was in the area with his side
project Papa Mali. Kreutzmann joined the Vermont based
band on several songs. Mike Gordon of Phish and
Kreutzmann have collaborated on a number of projects over the
years.
