Jack Bruce Claims Death Threats Made

Says Zeppelin fans targeted him for bad mouthing band Cream bass player Jack Bruce has learned a lot about the power of the internet and social networking sites since he made remarks last fall comparing Led Zeppelin very unfavorably to his former band [story]. Bruce, who offered no details on the threats in a recent interview with the East Anglian Daily Times, said his comments were intended as just a light hearted jab, telling the paper, "We always used to have a pop at other bands in the old days and that's all it was." The quotes that incited Zep fans, made after a November awards show, sounded more serious than Bruce now makes them out to be.
