Dylan, Def Leppard latest tours to cancel
or postpone
Ailments make Aerosmith a cinch to clinch Feel Bad Tour of
2009 honors. About the only bad thing left to happen did
last week when Steven Tyler fell off the stage in Sturgis,
breaking his shoulder [story].
Other tours have hit hitches. A stage collapse triggered by a
severe storm in Canada [story]
has elevated concern about increased weather related risks.
Extreme heat is being blamed for cancellation of a Bob Dylan, John
Mellencamp, Willie Nelson show in Glendale, Arizona
(8/11) . An unspecified bereavement
apparently involving someone close to a member of Def Leppard
has caused postponement of that group's shows with Cheap Trick
in Nashville (8/10) and
Birmingham (8/11).
